Jim Davis
Writing and Editing
For more than 40 years, Jim has fine-tuned his writing skills and helped people craft their writing. He was a content editor for 35 of his 40 years at the Daily Herald, where he managed its DuPage and Fox Valley editions. He also wrote a weekly column for more than two decades. In his final year at the newspaper, he implemented the paper’s “Straight from the Source” series, in which he mentored and edited first-time writers in sharing their unique stories.
Since his retirement in 2017, Jim has worked as a freelance editor with aspiring authors on an array of topics and genres as varied as Young Adult, romance, dystopian, and memoirs.
Dr. Margaret Brady
Interviews
Since 1999, Margaret has interviewed individuals throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Her doctorate is in curriculum and instruction for higher education, including a specialty in writing life stories. She has taught at Elgin Community College, Judson University, North Park University, Northern Illinois University, and the Wesley Institute for Worship in Sydney, Australia.
